Great Dixter
28 July - 27 August
Tuesday-Sunday, 11.00-17.00

Preview Friday 27 July, 18.30

In the garden, as in an exhibition, there is a specific sense of space, an architecture, and a particular sense of time – a feeling of different times superimposed onto one another. Valérie Eglès finds that this time/space relationship is most intense in the quintessential English garden. In Great Dixter, the labyrinthine paths and curiously shaped trees allow for a sense of the supernatural; a down-the-rabbit-hole experience.
